Why do something like this? the answer is of course that I love opals as much or more than most people ,also i am sort of a perfectionist and that is a good thing when working with opal you need an eye for fire and beauty as every opal is like a fingerprint no two are the same so each one will have it's own story for its owner as to what caused them to love that particular opal , so tell me what you want or bring a piece of rough to be cut and shaped and polished  I have been working with jewelry and lapidairy for over thirty years as a hobbiest and now plan to take my love for gems and opals to you. I also like to work tourquosie and silver, as my Grandfather did when he was living in Kingman Az. taught to me.
Here is a breathtaking shot from the south rim at the Grand Canyon that was taken on our vacation last year while searching for hot spots to do a little rockhounding and talking to some of the long time residents, this is a view that you could spend the rest of your life waking up to ,, what do you think?  Ansel Adams thought so! And that was why he had his studio located here on the south rim of the canyon for its  magnificent view and ever changing colors that would change with the time of day ,or season it truely be seen to be belived!
